Undoubtedly this year has been fulfilled with many events and people have encountered unique situations. The wave of the pandemic has overflown the world, the unemployment rates have risen, in many places in the world, there are ongoing protests, the level of suicide is higher than the year before, someplace there is active warfare, and someplace peace agreements have been arranged. Nevertheless, the constant through this year has been diverse crises and the diverse solutions to these crises. Many times these solutions only create new crises. This is the reason why during this conference we want to focus our attention on the importance of religion in these crises – is it helpful or just the opposite?

We ask you to think about the main theme of the conference “Crises and Religion” in its interconnectedness with one of the subthemes:

  • Covid-19 crises.
  • Crises of religions.
  • The importance of religion in diverse levels of crises – from personal to global.
